Costigan Media sees 2006 Super Bowl
commercials, State of the Union Address driving even more
traffic to flagship Gambling911.com web site this week
Miami Beach, FL (PRWEB) January 30, 2006 --- In a quest to be
the world's most read web site pertaining to the 2006 Super Bowl
sports betting sector, Costigan Media also sees some other
advantages.
"The commercials themselves, which have
practically become more important than the two teams playing,
are now worthy of the sports bettor's attention as well,"
comments Payton O'Brien, columnist for Costigan Media's
Gambling911.com web site.
It's true, gamblers will now be able to
bet on the 2006 Super Bowl commercials care of
PinnacleSports.com.
Anheuser-Busch is once again the odds-on
favorite to win the US Today viewer poll at 1/2 odds (i.e., win
$1 for every $2 bet). Burger King, airing its first Super Bowl
ad in a decade, is listed with the second best odds at 9/2 to be
voted the most popular commercial. PinnacleSports.com lists
longtime Super Bowl advertiser Pepsi at 8/1 to win the poll for
the first time since 1998.
Notably missing from the
PinnacleSports.com odds listing is a not-yet-confirmed airing of
the highly controversial GoDaddy.com spot featuring model
Candice Michelle.
Gambling911.com reported Sunday that the
commercial could receive clearance after a 12th alteration was
submitted to ABC for approval.

Joe Mandese,
editor of MediaPost, which covers the advertising and industry,
said submitting ads that get rejected has generated barrels of
free ink for GoDaddy, which will reap the benefits of Super Bowl
hype - even if its spot never makes it onto the air.
Costigan Media
CEO Christopher Costigan sees another advantage.
"Lots and lots
of traffic," he stated. "Both Candice Michelle and
GoDaddy.com are among the most sought after subjects on the
internet this week and that's a terrific position for a web
hosting company to be in regardless of whether these commercials
actually air or not."
Gambling911.com
anticipates a significant amount of traffic itself generated by
interest in these 2006 Super Bowl commercials.
Already the web
site has reported January 2006 as its busiest month since
debuting on the internet in September 2000.
Gambling911.com
has also realized significant interest in the 2006 State of the
Union Address, which will be aired January 31. For the
first time ever, viewers will be able to bet on how many
standing ovations President Bush receives and how often he says
the word "Iraq" and "Space Terrorism".
Long time
Gambling911.com sponsor, Bodog.com, has listed other odds as
well.
Traffic
generally increases dramatically for web sites such as
Gambling911.com during the few weeks leading up to the sports
betting world's biggest day, Super Bowl Sunday. This in
the past has been followed by a lull prior to explosive traffic
entering the March Madness season.
